Empowering Lives Through Understanding and Community for Those Living with Invisible Illnesses
How would you feel if your doctor dropped a condition in your lap that you couldn’t pronounce and knew
very little, if anything, about?
How do you navigate your way through life with a condition and symptoms that no one else can see?
Do you know where and how to ask for help when you need it?
If you’re like us, you’re not only facing the shock of your diagnosis, but the overwhelm, the uncertainty, and the craziness your new condition presents for you and your family.
Have you ever wished a doctor would just talk to you like a “human being” instead of as a “patient on a chart?” That they offered more compassion and understanding while you struggled to figure out how to handle this new version of your life?
You likely turned to your doctor and hospital, expecting them to offer you the best options and treatments. But when they tell you there’s nothing more they can do and you’ll “just have to live with it,” what then?
You ask yourself, “Where can I go?
Surely there’s got to be more options than this!”
You’re left feeling alone, wondering why there is no action plan…ANY sort of plan. Even if it’s a plan that
changes frequently.
You ask yourself if any of this is normal. Is what you and your family feeling normal? Are you going to be okay?
Is your family going to be okay?
You want someone to tell you “We’re going to figure this out together”, even if it’s a hard journey.
You struggle, wondering if what
you’ve been doing is making
any difference at all.
The questions keep you up at night.
“What are my options now? Is there a way to tackle this and get some control over my life? What sort of life am I going to have? Can I live a life close to what I had before?
Does this HAVE to change everything?”
The physical and emotional stress is hard enough. Then the financial stress sets in.
How are you and your family going to pay for all this? Can you afford to treat it?
Can you afford to look for other options?
The better question is: Can you afford NOT to?
Why did no one offer you a list of places to help and support you in learning to cope with your “new normal?”
Are there resources available to provide you with alternative, non-traditional, and non-medical modalities
and therapies that others have used successfully? Where can you find them?
Is there anything out there to help? Is there ANYONE here to help?
Is there anyone here that CARES?
The answer is yes.
I’m Jeff Pearson. My wife Catherine and I went through this same nightmare.
I’ve been through 15 surgeries; most were emergency surgeries.
When I was diagnosed with my condition, there were very few options.
In the last 10 years, I’ve heard it all, including “I don’t understand what’s going on with you,” and “Well, I guess you’re just going to have to deal with it.”
We had to find alternate treatments out of necessity. The medical community didn’t help much with that search.
Because of this, we understand the challenges you are going through.
That’s why we created “Invisible Condition University”, so you never have to go through what we did alone.
YOU now have a place to turn.

Instead of a stereotypical married life of kids, careers, and family vacations, we found ourselves in hospitals as Jeff underwent multiple surgeries for Hydrocephalus, a condition causing fluid to build up on the brain. As both patient and caregiver, we have had to navigate the fear and uncertainty of Jeff’s symptoms, working through countless consultations with healthcare providers, and handling the emotional and financial strain as a result of mounting medical expenses.
Despite our challenges, we leaned into our experiences with unwavering resiliency and hope to make certain others going through similar issues would never have to go it alone.
In 2023, we launched our TV show “Invisible Condition" on e360tv, bringing awareness to the various conditions millions of individuals live with every day that are “unseen” by the outside world and amplifying their voices.
Our message is a simple, yet important one: Hope, Help, and reminding you that you are NOT alone.
